This year’s IGSBi conference will address aspects of collecting, cataloging, and presenting educational media under the theme “Searching \u2013 Compiling \u2013 Presenting \u2013 Learning \u2013 Researching.” These include not only textbooks and other teaching and learning materials for schools\u2014such as school wall charts, atlases, educational and instructional films, digital teaching and learning resources\u2014but also materials for out-of-school settings and adult education, such as children’s and young adult books, textbooks for training, study and continuing education, guides in all media forms (including magazines like Eltern), and eyewitness accounts collected to convey knowledge about specific historical events.
\nThe conference contributions will explore different aspects of collecting, compiling, and providing educational media, as well as the use of educational media collections for teaching and learning processes and research. <\/p>\n
